Have you noticed? It’s nearly October. And October, round here, means #drabbletober.
This year - as in 2023 and 2022 - I’ll be sharing a drabble (a story of exactly 100 words) every day. You’ll be able to read the day’s story here, if you want, but you’ll also be able to listen to it in podcast form.
Through October I’ll be releasing a tiny podcast every day, each one containing a new 100-word story. If you’d like me to read you some shiny new microfiction every day, then head on over to the Drabbletober page. You’ll be able to find the text of each story there, and a “play” button if you want to listen to it. Of course, if you’re someone who listens to podcasts already, then you can find it in podcastland in the normal way, by searching for “drabbletober”.
If you’ve got friends who like fiction, or listen to podcasts, please do tell them about it. Each episode should clock in at less than two minutes, so you can pretty much take in a story while you brush your teeth or butter your toast.
The first episode will be available - of course - on October 1st. Drabbletober is coming!
